USTA Junior Team Tennis brings together boys and girls, ages 6 to 18, to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other coed teams. Beyond being fun and a great form of exercise, Junior Team Tennis is a competitive, level-based environment that promotes individual growth, social growth and life skills.
Likewise, what are the levels of junior tennis?
There are four age divisions: 12, 14, 16 & 18 and under. You may play in your age division up until the last day of the month before you “age out”. For example, if you are 12 years old & are going to turn 13 in May, you may play in the 12-and-under division until the last day in April.
Consequently, what is the World Team Tennis format?
The STANDARD WTT format will be used (6-set format; 6-games/set; no-ad scoring; 9-point tiebreaker at 5 games all; play service lets). Teams are guaranteed a minimum of two (2) matches (weather permitting). If weather does not permit ANY play, 75% of the entry fee will be refunded.
